Explore some Prior Lake lakeshore homes for sale. Please note that this list includes all waterfront properties for sale within city limits, so you may find some lakeshore homes on Spring Lake, Fish Lake or on a couple of environmental lakes. The IDX does not display homes on Prior Lake itself as separate. However, most of these real estate listings are homes on Prior Lake. As a side note, Spring Lake excellent for bassin’ and Fish Lake is swamped with large numbers of panfish. Both lakes are fully recreational. You may want to consider Prior Lake MN lakeshore properties on these lakes as well.

Prior Lake is actually two separate but connected lakes; Lower Prior Lake (810 acres) is the southern basin, and Upper Prior Lake (354 acres) is on the south end. You could hardly go wrong purchasing Prior Lake lakeshore on either end. Both are known for some of the best northern pike, bass, panfish, and walleye fishing in the Twin Cities. Purchase waterfront property here, and you will probably sell your Northern Minnesota lake cabin. Live year-round on lakefront that is within a short commute to Minneapolis.

Homes on Prior Lake

There are handful of lakeshore Prior Lake homes that are priced over 1M, but most waterfront properties here are more affordable than what you might expect. If you are looking for lakefront on the upper end of the price spectrum, a home in Northwood subdivision with a six car garage, over an acre of land, and about 120 feet or so of sandy beach might very well be on your home shopping itinerary. Brand new construction in Eastwood on a walkout lot might also be on your list. A newer custom lakeshore Prior Lake home in Seven Acres on the southeastern end would also afford fine luxury Minnsota lakeshore living. At the time of this writing, there was also a brand new custom home offered by Pinnacle Family Homes.

Lakeshore Homes are Affordable

On the more affordable end of the price spectrum, you can find homes on Prior Lake that are priced in the 300′s that are a bit smaller but are on a half acre of land. If your timing is right, you might get a chance to purchase a bank-owned foreclosed lakeshore property in the same price range. Regardless of whether you are looking at short sales, new construction, lakeshore foreclosures, or luxury homes, you will find good value. Almost all of these properties feature excellent sandy beach. Own some prime Minnesota lakeshore right in the Twin Cities metro area.
