Homes on Fish Lake in Scott County, MN

fish lake lakeshore

Fish Lake in Scott County is not a huge lake (171 acres) but has plenty of room for waterskiing and sailing. The lake is 28 feet deep at its deepest point, and boasts a clarity of 6.5 feet, depending upon the time of year. Fish Lake is home to a large number of panfish, including bluegills and black and white crappies. Bluegills are now at the highest numbers they have been since 1949. Largemouth bass can be caught on the southwest corner. Walleyes are heavily managed here, and can be hooked off Kaiser’s point on the north end.

Fish Lake Lakeshore Properties

The inventory of lakeshore homes is severely limited, thanks to extremely low turnover. Small wonder. Why would want to move away from their home on Fish Lake? Over the last year (2012) there were only two closed sales, including a gorgeous two story with three car garage and two acres of land, and a small cabin on Ben’s Bay.
